CYCLE: I to III ACTIVITY LEVEL: High
MATERIAL: in a gym
Maybe few pinnies
TACTICS: Try to use all the space available
React fast enough to avoid getting touched
React fast enough to touch the opposite player
Move on offense as team with proper communication
DESCRIPTION:
Layer 1:
- Students will move around the gym avoiding touching other students
Layer 2:
- 2 pairs of students will be put together (bras dessus bras dessous)
- They will be it
- As soon as they touch someone this person is attached to them
Layer 3:
- Once they understand the concept start over but when tags are more than 3 they are allowed to separate in even numbers
MODIFICATIONS:
- Only teams of minimum three are allowed
- If it’s too easy for defense, tags will hold pinnies instead of (bras dessus bras dessous)
SAFETY
- Make sure kids use proper tagging (no slaps allowed)
- Players have to be aware of dangerous contacts (heads up and look where they go)
- Students have to cooperate with their teammates, don’t pull them everywhere!
