Net and wall
CYCLE: III ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium
MATERIAL: badminton courts and nets, beach balls, soft balls

DESCRIPTION:
Layer 1:
- Each player will be paired up (it’s a 2v2 game)
- They will be in a designated area (badminton court)
- One player will start with the beach ball and will serve it to the other team with his foot
- The goal is to maintain the rally so it has to be an easy serve
- The other team will try to catch it
- The player who caught it will make a pass to his partner
- The partner will hit the ball with his foot to send it back in the opponent’s court
Layer 2:
- The goal is now to score a point
- In order to score a point players have to send the ball so the opponents cannot catch it
- If the ball is sent outside of the court it’s a point for the team in “defense”
MODIFICATIONS:
- Smashes are allowed (head, knees or chest)
- Blocks are allowed
- If it is too difficult, 1 bounce is allowed before the 1st contact
- Teams of 3 or 4
SAFETY
- Teach how to react when a ball goes on the other courts (ask for it!)
- Put space between courts (don’t use the same line as limits)
- Use soft balls (won’t hurt if kicked too hard)
